North
Australian Helicopters (NAH) has been
trading since July 1993. Prior to this
date the company was operated under the
name Frescote Pty Ltd and purchased its
first helicopter in 1993. In December,
2001 NAH purchased the A.A. Co
Helicopter division at Mount Isa. This
included 5 Robinson R22s and the hangar
at Mount Isa airport.

NAH is solely owned by Milton Jones.
NAH's operations
include significant charter and tourism work as
well as helicopter mustering.
NAH has
successfully completed government contracts with
DIPE, Power & Water and National
Parks.
NAH has been
contracting for Parks Australia North since May
1998 when it took over the operations of
Heli-North.
NAH Pilots are
experienced in aerial incendiary operations and
feral animal eradication. They have also been
involved with investigation and patrol
operations. Through their work in Kakadu
National Park they have developed a clear
understanding of environmental ethics and
procedures and awareness of Aboriginal culture
and the nature of joint management with
Aboriginal people in Kakadu National
Park.

How to Find
Us
Kakadu -
Jabiru
Located at the
Jabiru Airport.
The airport is approximately 6km east of Jabiru,
near the Ranger Uranium Mine. The NAH office is
the first building on the left on approach the
the airport. The office is
airconditioned.
Disabled
Access - Access from the carpark to the
helipad and helicopter is easy. There is a
footbridge to negotiate. The office
does have a step.
Nitmiluk
(Katherine) Gorge
Scenic Flights
are available for the NAH Base opposite the low
level crossing.
Disabled
Access - There are no steps to reach
the helipad.
